Abdul Hameed Fayaz, Ameer (Chief) of Jamaat-e-Islami, is among the several separatist leaders arrested in Kashmir Valley as India begins crackdown on political leaders who have been instigating local youth to pick up arms against the state. India has taken a tough stand against armed terrorists after the February 14 suicide terrorist attack at Pulwama where 300 kg RDX was used on a CRPF convoy. 40 CRPF jawans have been martyred in this attack.
