Dr. Mahrang Baloch, a prominent human rights advocate, has condemned the recent explosion in Khuzdar as part of the ongoing genocide against the Baloch people. The blast, which occurred at Umer Farooq Chowk shortly after evening prayers on Sunday, claimed the lives of two individuals and left at least ten others injured.

Taking to X, Dr. Baloch criticized the Pak Army for committing oppression in Pak-occupied Balochistan. She highlighted how the Army has allowed criminal gangs and individuals to create bloodbaths on Baloch land. However, the Baloch community will continue to resist this impunity and monopoly.

In response to these atrocities, the Baloch Youth Council (BYC) has announced plans to host a space titled “BYC’s Movement against Baloch Genocide” on April 9th. Esteemed speakers, activists, and scholars, including Sammi Deen Baloch, Advocate Iman Hazir Mazari, Agha Zubair Shah, Munizae Jahangir, Afrasiyab Khattak, and Dr. Mahrang Baloch, will participate in the forum. Sadia Baloch will host the event.

Pakistan has forcefully occupied Balochistan since 1948, exploiting its resources while oppressing its people. To maintain its grip on the region, Pakistan has employed various oppressive tactics such as enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and death squads, killing thousands of innocent individuals and making their loved ones live in a nightmare forever.
