Nadia Baloch, sister of Shah Fahad, who was forcibly disappeared from Kharan area of occupied Balochistan by Pakistani forces, while holding a press conference at Quetta Press Club, said that FC Colonel Kharan and his camp have been threatening them since the disappearance of her brother. Vice-Chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons Mama Qadeer and Hawaran Baloch were also present on this occasion.

Nadia Baloch said that her brother Shah Fahad, age 22 was forcibly abducted by CTD from their house in Babu Mohalla Kharan on 16 March 2022 in the presence of eyewitnesses . ‘Instead of rescuing my brother, we are now being threatened and harassed so that people don’t speak up’, she said. Meanwhile, mobile phones, phones, 70,000 rupees and other valuable items were stolen from thier house on the pretext of investigation. She said that Fahad had been forcibly disappeared earlier as well along with their elder brother Ghulam Farid on 26 August 2016. Shah Fahad was just fifteen years old at that time, he was released after a few days and the elder brother was released after three years of enforced disappearance.

Nadia said that her family is being harassed by constant state repression. She accused FC Colonel Kharan of calling the camp and threatening them not to name CTD in the enforced disappearance of Shah Fahad. ‘We have used all the means of the law and the Constitution to recover our brother, have been continuously appearing in the commission and courts, have adopted all democratic and legitimate methods of protest, participated in the ongoing protest sit-in in the red zone last year’. Finally, she appealed for her brother Shah Fahd to be brought to light if he has committed any crime or is accused of any crime according to the law of the country.
