Rishab Shetty’s  much acclaimed film and one of the biggest hits of 2022 ‘Kantara’ is all set to be screened at the United Nations in Geneva. The Centre for Global Affiairs & Public Policy announced that the screening will take place on 17 March 2023. Shetty will shed light on the role of Indian Cinema  in fostering discussions on environment, climate, and conservation at the UNHRC Session at Genera. The CGAPP mentions that ‘Kantara’ greatly inspires people to be aware of environmental challenges and positively respond to challenges of conserving local ecologies by appealing to their emotions.

In addition, actor cum director Rishab Shetty also announced Kantara 2 after the film completed 100 days. He said in a statement, “We are very pleased and thankful to the audience who had shown immense love and support to Kantara and taking the journey ahead, with the blessing of almighty Daiva the film has successfully completed 100 days and I would like to take this opportunity to announce the prequel of Kantara. What you have seen is actually Part 2, Part 1 will come next year.”
